This is a good new hotel, but there's one big reason why I won't be returning!
If you're looking for peace and quiet, this isn't the place. Everything that happens on the property – screaming children, neighbors talking – you can hear it all clearly in your room. And at night and early in the morning, you won't be able to sleep thanks to the chickens outside your window and the roosters crowing at 6 AM, not to mention guests who don't seem to realize they're not the only ones in the hotel, plus hotel staff starting their shifts and chatting actively.
I won't be coming back here; I'll choose a different hotel next time.

I really liked the room we stayed in. It was spacious, clean, and very bright. There's a lovely terrace where you can relax in the evening. The grounds are lush and tropical, with birds singing and roosters crowing, haha! The staff were sweet and friendly. The pools were a bit dirty when we arrived – the water was cloudy, and there was a lot of debris floating around. Breakfast was good; you won't go hungry. There are plenty of cafes nearby, and fresh fish and shrimp are sold by the main road, where they'll also cook them for you. What I didn't like was the walk to the beach; even though it's only 5-7 minutes, it's pretty terrible. (There's construction going on there now, lots of trash around, and a corresponding smell from the garbage bins). And at the beach entrance, you're met with a horrible narrow strip of sand. To the right, where you enter the sea, there are huge rocks everywhere. It's better to walk left to the Grand Ocean hotel's beach and find a spot in the shade. Otherwise, sunbed rental is 500k. Sunbeds a bit closer at the Coco hotel are 100k. But I didn't even like the sea itself.

The room was good, had everything we needed, and the grounds were beautiful – truly felt like living in the jungle. The staff were very friendly with excellent English, always available, helped with all our questions, and fulfilled every request. Thanks to the staff, our impression was excellent. We rented a scooter, and everything was fine with that. We stayed for 5 nights.
The significant downside was the geckos and insects. A fumigator helped with the mosquitoes. But you have to understand that this is a bungalow-style hotel, and wildlife comes with the territory. It was fine for us, but just keep it in mind. At night, there were many sounds from geckos and birds, but we even enjoyed that. There's a great beach within walking distance and tasty cafes on the road.

Amazing stay! Mr. T made our trip special. Can’t wait to return 🥹We had a wonderful experience at this resort☀️A huge shout-out to Mr. T, who assisted us throughout our stay. He is incredibly kind, always smiling, and went above and beyond for us he even taught my husband how to ride the motorbike when he was struggling at first (it was such a cute and funny moment!).The check-in process was very smooth, and the hotel itself is brand new and well-maintained. We loved the facilities there’s a free kitchen you can use and a washing machine with a dryer, which was such a convenient bonus. The cleaners were absolutely amazing; they were so thorough that they even folded our clothes for us (which they didn’t have to do!). They truly deserve tips for their hard work.We enjoyed it so much that staying for 3 nights didn’t feel like enough. Unfortunately, we tried to extend our stay but couldn’t because the resort was fully booked which shows how popular it is! We would love to come back here again.The only minor downside was that the water pressure wasn’t very strong, but honestly, everything else was so good that it didn’t ruin our experience.Highly recommended!❤️

For the price, this hotel is simply excellent. Everything was great in terms of value for money. We rented a bungalow, and everything was in good condition, everything worked, and it wasn't noisy. There's a paid mini-bar, and they bring two bottles of water and clean the room daily. There's a small pool with sun loungers on the property; even when the hotel was full, we never had an issue finding a spot by the pool. Also right on site, there's a minimarket, currency exchange, a bar/cafe (where breakfast is served in the mornings, and our breakfast was included with the bungalow), and moped rental, which is very convenient. Within walking distance, there's a beach, plenty of minimarkets and cafes – basically everything you need for a beach holiday. The place is very secluded, more suitable for those who don't like noise and city hustle. The location itself is also very good, almost in the center of the island (though a bit closer to the north), 6 km from the city, and not far from the airport. If you want to explore, you can always rent a moped and travel around the island. Special thanks to the staff; they always responded very quickly to any request, even on some matters they weren't obliged to, and the overall attitude felt more like a family, which was very pleasant. So, a huge thank you to Agarwood Garden Resort, you're super! If I come back to the island, I will definitely stay with you again. The only things I would ask for are bottle openers in the rooms and a bit more variety at breakfast.

не понравилось: чайник не выключался автоматически и нагревалась ручка, обожглись. не смывался туалет при заселении, но это быстро починили. был очень мутный бассейн, не хотелось в нем плавать. лежаки твердые, не удобные.
рядом пляж в камнях, не очень красивый. повторно бы сюда не поехали
рядом очень много кошечек и собачек — за это большой плюс 🥰

Just came back from an amazing stay at Grand Ocean Bay Resort in Phu Quoc and honestly… one of the best resort experiences I’ve had 🌊✨
The ocean here is super clean and beautiful — definitely one of the best beaches I’ve seen. There are plenty of beach loungers, so no need to wake up early to “chope” seats at all.
The swimming pool is also really nice, and there’s even a bar by the pool which makes it perfect for just chilling the whole day 🍹
Facilities-wise, this place has a lot to offer — gym, pickleball hall, and even kayaking activities for you to explore the sea. You really won’t get bored staying here.
Breakfast is buffet-style and it’s seriously good — wide variety and great quality. One of the highlights of the stay for sure.
The room is super spacious and comfortable. The bathtub is huge (perfect for relaxing after a long day), and I really love the overall design of the resort. The lobby, surroundings, and rooms all follow a natural theme — with raw wood materials, earthy tones, and soft warm lighting that creates a very calming and relaxing ambience 🌿
Service is also top-notch. The staff are friendly and super helpful — from helping with luggage to arranging a complimentary shuttle to the airport, everything was smooth and well taken care of.
Overall, highly recommend this resort if you’re coming to Phu Quoc. Really, really good — will definitely come back again 👍

The Location isnt within walking distance to anything but very easy to get around to places with a taxi. Staff were friendly and helpful, the resort is big enough to not need to leave for a few days, maybe even a week ! Multiple pools and sunbeds that we didnt have to fight for, drinks and food can be delivered to the sun loungers, even at the beach. The beach club was amazing and has views of the pool and the sunset ! I recommend going there ! It seemed easy for parents to do their thing whilst their kids play in the water and a very safe atmosphere, but also as someone who doesnt have kids, they have enough areas where you dont feel surround by children and families as well. The gym is great ! They also have various classes for adults everyday at different locations around the resort. There are multiple restaurants and happy hour every evening at the beach club. Breakfast was fine - theres variety but also the same options everyday, plenty to choose from but not much day to day variety - the egg station is great ! Any kind of egg any kind of way ! - Just make sure to go early to breakfast because it gets INSANELY BUSY from around 9am , people literally fighting over watermelon chunks. Chocolate hour is really fun ! But again everyone fights for those watermelon chunks even though there are endless plates of them ... but its a free hour with chocolate fountains so not too much to complain about there !
All the restaurants are great and one of them does a different BBQ style buffet meal each evening, theres also live singers and foam parties - theres so much going on and sometimes different every single day ! Had a great time, a really lovely resort overall !
(P.s they even left a birthday cake upon arrival! So kind!)

This is a place I'll definitely return to for a second time! It was such a pleasant surprise! Initially, I saw many reviews about insects, ants, and geckos, so I didn't have high hopes. However, after several nights, not a single mosquito bit me. The hotel clearly takes pest control seriously, and they've even sealed up all the wooden gaps in the rooms, so there's no need to worry about geckos. The air conditioning and hot water were much better than I expected. And of course, the beautiful scenery goes without saying. The genuine and simple smiles of the staff are something I'll truly miss after leaving!

GGuest UserWe went as a 3 generational family and it was a perfect vacation for us! The villa was nicely maintained and decorated, and the food at the restaurant offered a good selection. We loved the pho bar and bahn mi in the morning, and being able to order a full barista menu at breakfast.
Some points of improvement:
- training for staff. Many of them didn’t speak English or wasn’t eager to help. Jenny at the restaurant was great, and housekeeping was on time and helpful.
- the beach was incredibly dirty. Filled with cigarette butts and general plastic littering. It was something that was overlooked and I didn’t feel comfortable going back with my children after the first day.
- some healthier choices for the kids table at breakfast would be appreciated. It was all sugar: donuts, marshmallows, chocolate eggs and muffins with chocolate sauce and jam.
- the kids club was pretty sad and even though we had two children with us (6 and 4 years old), we didn’t even visit it once. It just seemed like a completely overlooked part of the hotel, and didn’t even feel clean.
The new playground was lovely (when the sun went down) and it’s obvious that they are trying to continuously improve the resort (with the building of the new kid-friendly pool, and the landscaping).
However, we don’t think we will return unless there are more activities geared for children. We ended up staying mostly in our own pool and brought our own games to play in the villa.

GGuest UserPros: There is bellman service available to help us take care of our luggages when we arrived before check-in time, so we could go for lunch without our heavy baggages. Even though we rejected the enthusiastic bellman who offer to bring our luggages to our rooms, as we were not used to it, he continued to serve us graciously when we were lost (since the room numbers all starts with 1 followed by the storey). Located next to the sea with a shallow beach, Seashells is a prime location for beach swimming and kayaking. Safety signs were in placed and blow dryers were installed to prevent slipping at the ground floor. Restaurant serves delicious breakfast.
Cons: We didn't receive a welcome drink that was supposed to be part of the hotel's check-in experience. The check-in timing is 3pm, unlike most other hotels that offers early check-in, this hotel doesn't.
Generally, Seashells is a great stay and deserves its 5 stars rating for its location, cleanliness and facilities. Safety is a bonus point, given that lift access requires a room card. Although we did not have the opportunity to experience the sauna and steam bath, there were many options in the vicinity.

AAnonymous UserThe location of the resort is the USP. They have a wonderful swimming pool, there is a decent indoor kids play area. The breakfast spread is good, overall dining experience in the two restaurants in this property was fantastic. The front desk handling of customers is something which is the laggard. They can do a lot better in terms of customer service and timeliness in terms of responding to the guests. The private beach is also good. They have a e rickshaw service to Grand world which is no where to be seen in case you are looking to board it to return to the hotel.

✈✈️keaidexiaolinlinerI was a bit hesitant before booking, seeing all the bad reviews online. But when we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing this sea-view villa was! It was very spacious for our group of two adults and three children. The hotel service was also great. Although there was no Chinese-speaking staff, the front desk's English accent wasn't too strong.
The only drawback was the lack of cutlery in the kitchen. We bought some snacks back and had nothing to eat them with!
There were quite a few Koreans and Westerners around. The iced coffee at breakfast was so good, I drank it for four days straight. It was truly excellent.
We booked the Sheraton villa next door for the following four days. Honestly, even though both hotels are operated by the same owner, the Peach Hotel is noticeably much better in terms of service and facilities, and it's also more conveniently located. The breakfast there was very similar to Peach, with many of the same dishes. But there were too many Indians, if you know what I mean...
I personally found the pool to be very clean. It was just a few steps from the villa to the beach. The best part was having trees by the pool, so it wasn't too sunny.

We stayed at this hotel as a family. We rented two rooms. The hotel is new. No more than two years after the opening. The description of the hotel and rooms fully corresponds to the website. I must say right away that the hotel can be rated five out of five, everything else is not the fault of the hotel and its service. This is a problem common to the entire island of Phu Quoc. The island is preparing to host a major economic summit in 2027. The whole island is one big construction and reconstruction project. It is not surprising that suddenly reconstruction and equipment for a new tourist facility (hotel, shop, restaurant, etc.) can begin in neighboring buildings, but we must pay tribute to the fact that the silence regime is still observed. This is Saturday and Sunday, a complete ban, repairs are possible only from 8:00 to 11:00 from 13:00 to 17:00. HL Melody in the neighboring block is completing reconstruction for its own apartments, that is, it is expanding its offer. It is said that everything will be finished by March 2026. But I repeat, it's everywhere on the island and on Khem in particular. If you think that hotels such as La Grotta, All Sand, Paralia, ANN and others of this class of hotels will be better, then you are mistaken. Construction and reconstruction are going on everywhere.
Unlike these hotels, the location of HL is much better, far from the noise of the crowd of vacationers, the noise of passing cars and bikes. Khem Beach is a 10-minute slow walk away. The windows of rooms 101, 201, 301, and so on overlook the rainforest. At night, we turned off the air conditioner and slept with the windows open in complete silence. In the morning, we were only bothered by the roosters of the neighboring village and the forest birds. Tips for nearby restaurants - Chinese Fu Lu Kang (excellent work by a professional chef, instant service, full Chinese menu, except for Peking duck, we recommend absolutely everything). Grill Station is a decent menu when you want to switch from Vietnamese cuisine. Com Nha Vietnamese Cuisine is the latest restaurant on the way to the beach. Very affordable prices and excellent food quality. Better than on the beach - Draft Beer Bai Khem. We used the last one when we were at the beach all day. I recommend all the listed restaurants. KingKong has the best currency exchange, while Khem has a 1% worse exchange rate. If you skip the transport to KingKong, then the course is the same. The general advice on Khem's vacation location is if finances allow, then Premier Residence, New Wolrd, JW Marriott. That is, the territories that were closed and completed for reconstruction with half board. The latter is important because Vietnamese cuisine is sparse and monotonous. At the same time, you are guaranteed that you do not have large-scale repairs with the demolition of floors behind your wall. We recommend the Shop-center and farm of sea and river pearls - Ngoc Hien Pearl Farm. You can even book a transfer from the hotel if you really intend to buy something.
HL Melody service: very good. The Ngoan concierge is a very polite and helpful employee. Our respect.
Rooms: new and clean. Cleaning was carried out every day. Towels are changed every day. The linen is all snow-white and dry. Please note that there is an error in the description of one of the rooms. There is only one kitchen for self-catering and breakfast on the ground floor. In the lobby there is a stove, refrigerator, dishes, professional coffee machine, water, drinks, Two bicycles in free use.
Internet - WIFI is fast without freezes.
There's an elevator in the hotel, but you can't hear it at all. In general, the sound insulation is good.
We recommend this hotel. The price is fair and affordable, and the service corresponds to the hotel class.
I repeat that the problems of reconstruction are a problem of Phu Quoc in any new location of tourist clusters - Marina, SunSetTown, Khem, and etc.

BBob Walker MaA really great hotel! They offer a free shuttle service to the airport, which is only a 9-15 minute taxi ride away. The facilities are quite new, and the swimming pool is massive with dining options on both sides, so you can eat right after your swim. The landscaping is beautiful, and you can also have lunch and dinner at the hotel. The service is top-notch; we truly felt at home. We stayed for three nights with our child and it was very comfortable. During the day, we visited the Big World and the zoo in the north. On our third day, we went back home from the hotel, and the journey was smooth sailing all the way. KING KONG MART is also very close by from here.

We stayed at this villa as a family.
We liked the villa very much, we rate it 10/10. The house's design is thoughtful. The rooms are well thought out and well equipped. The bathrooms are very nice. The landscaping with tropical trees and flowers is great. Bougainvillea is great. The night lighting of the villa is very impressive. Every three days there is a complete cleaning and replacement of all towels. The linen is new, dry and spotlessly white. There is a washing machine. It helped a lot with rinsing beach clothes, T-shirts, and beach towels. Everything was dry in the morning. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, but I would advise the manager to change one of the pans, add 8 earthenware cups instead of plastic ones and 10 pieces of small teaspoons and add 8 large plates for the main course. In this case, there will be nothing to complain about. Our extended family was comfortable staying in this villa. Everything is completely consistent with the description. The location is in a quiet location in the complex of the same Sun Tropical Village villas. Security with a barrier around the perimeter, video cameras and more. Everything is great, but take into account one very important point. This is a problem common to the entire island of Phu Quoc. The island is preparing to host a major economic summit in 2027. The whole island is one big construction and reconstruction project. And not all the villas in this complex are ready for operation. At the moment, only 30% are involved. The rest are being put into operation very quickly. With us, one of the neighboring villas was fully equipped by about 40 workers, from concrete to complete furniture and landscaping in 12 days. The pace is impressive. So, if your villa is nearby, then you will have noise problems. I talked to one of these residents, who complained that he had a villa for rent for a month, and nearby repairs. Fortunately, during our stay with Evelyn, preparatory work was just beginning.
