Hotels near Xishan District, Kunming

I was torn between several hotels near Kunming Station, looking at Hilton, Orange Hotel, and Hanting Hotel, among others. I was never satisfied – either they were too expensive and didn't seem worth the price, or they were too far away, or they had too many negative reviews. After seeing Anman's high rating and researching it for a while, I decisively booked it. If anyone is hesitant, they should definitely choose this hotel. It far exceeded my expectations and was incredibly good value. For the same service and price, other places would charge double, and even then, they might not offer the same quality. Upon check-in, they even put my ID in a small protective sleeve and offered lobby tea. Facilities: The decor is excellent, with an elegant French style that creates a warm ambiance and a luxurious feel at first glance. Hygiene: Very clean, tidy, spacious, and bright. Environment: Large windows, good soundproofing, and two bedrooms with two bathrooms – fantastic. Service: The staff were warm and attentive, and they provided free breakfast. The cafeteria staff were also very responsible and answered all questions.

This hotel is an absolute must-stay when visiting the city, with an unbeatable location! Not only are the hotel's services and facilities comprehensive, but the staff are also incredibly attentive and enthusiastic. You won't have to worry about dining or shopping here, as it's surrounded by all sorts of delicious food options and malls, making getting around super convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, and the space was just right for two people with two large suitcases. Oh, and definitely don't forget to order some takeout and experience interacting with their delivery robot – it's really fun! Highly recommend!

I booked this hotel because I had an early morning flight. They offer an airport shuttle service every 30 minutes, which is super convenient. The front desk staff was amazing! Even though my room didn't include breakfast, they gave me a small pastry, an egg, and milk when I was checking out and getting on the shuttle to the airport. They also called me in advance to remind me about the shuttle service. Highly recommend!

This hotel is excellent! I originally came to Panlong for business and just randomly booked a hotel since I knew I'd be switching. To my surprise, I found it so comfortable after checking in that I decided to extend my stay – and ended up staying for four nights! A special thanks to the lovely front desk lady with the round face. On the first night, my family of three stayed in a king-size room, and she gave us a room with a three-meter-wide bed. The next day, I mentioned the room felt a bit small, and she graciously upgraded us to a twin room, really accommodating my needs. Her service was top-notch! The hotel is clean, hygienic, and all the facilities are complete, new, and in great condition. The bed was comfortable, and the price was fantastic – very budget-friendly! Next time I'm in Kunming, I'll definitely consider this hotel first. There's parking available, and it's easy to catch a taxi. Plus, the Ruiding City Shopping Center is just next door, which is incredibly convenient! Highly recommend! This is genuinely the first time I've written such a long review just because of a hotel stay! I didn't take any photos, but it looks exactly like the pictures!!

Overall, it was genuinely great. I stayed here with my parents and child, and the beds were quite large. The breakfast was plentiful; though I didn't get to try it, my parents did and they were very happy, which made me happy too. The front desk staff was excellent. When my child wasn't feeling well, they told us which hospital to go to, and all our questions and issues were communicated and resolved promptly. The hotel also has a laundry room. It was a pleasant stay, and the location was convenient for getting everywhere. Really good!

My friend highly recommended this place, saying the area is fantastic and super convenient, and the shuttle service was a huge plus. The shuttle service to/from the South High-Speed Rail Station was excellent. Overall, the service was truly impeccable, and there are plenty of great dining options nearby. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip.

The hotel is newly renovated, the room is very comfortable, there is a snack street downstairs, it is convenient, the hotel service is very good, and it is also very close to the high-speed rail. Relatively speaking, it is comfortable to stay and the experience is good. You can choose this hotel if you are transiting nearby!

The room was spotless. Everything felt new, and the decor was lovely. Although the space was a bit small, it didn't really affect usability. The smart home features throughout were a nice touch, making it incredible value for the price. What really stood out was the bedding – exactly to my liking. The pillow was just the right height and firmness, and the duvet was incredibly smooth and soft; it's rare to find such comfortable bedding in a hotel. Airport shuttle: Since it's a shared shuttle service for multiple hotels, the waiting time was a bit long.

Great location close to many amenities !! No issue with WiFi working greatly, been watching films every night !!! Great stuff, very friendly and helpful , stayed for few weeks, never had any issues !! Walking distance to various shopping malls and night markets !! Fruit market and vegetable markets very close by !!! Very convenient transport links, buses, tube taxis, rent electric bikes/scooters, etc…! About 10 minutes, walk to the great gym with a swimming pool !!! Many Great Dental Hospitals, fixed my teeth while staying, managed to install crowns !!! Also, if have time can have a good quality implants !! Very close to Kunming Zoo, other parks a temples…!
