"This is my second time staying here. Like last time, it's conveniently located next to the MRT station. But the building is starting to show its age. Some of the electric outlets in my room looks to be faulty. The bathroom have molds and mildew.
If you just need a room for sleep then it's worth it. If not, you should look for other options.
Also they'll collect a cash deposit of RM100 upon check-in. Refundable during check-out."
"Our original guesthouse plans fell through, so we booked a family room here with two single beds and one double. The room was very clean and tidy, and the memory foam pillows were super comfortable. The bathroom was also quite spacious, though the water pressure was a bit low, but still acceptable. The Wi-Fi was a little slow. Overall, it's great value for money. Right next to the hotel, there's a Zhuguangyu hotpot place with KTV private rooms, and across the street is a night market. You can also walk to the city center, which is very convenient. The location is excellent!"
"Small but tidy accommodation. In a very tall building just a few mins walk from KL Sentral. Tip: Google Maps didn't show it, but leave NU Sentral from the monorail exit, come down the second escalator, and then just follow the path beneath the monorail to the building. Views from the building were great, pool especially. Downsides were that the lift took a long time to come (55 floors and only 4 lifts), and didn't have air con, so could be a very sweaty wait. Laundromat in the building (L30) very convenient. Other downsides were no microwave, a small fridge, and a convoluted hot shower process with only 2 towels, but these are minor things. Lovely view over Little India, the Klang, and the Hokkien Cemetary, very quiet, and no light intrusion/pollution."
"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful Birthday Staycation Experience
We recently stayed at The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and the experience exceeded our expectations.
Prior to our stay, I reached out to the hotel with a special request for my husband’s birthday. Not only did the team thoughtfully prepare balloons, a birthday cake and a wish card, but they also surprised us with a complimentary upgrade to a Junior Suite. My husband was genuinely surprised, and it made the celebration even more memorable.
Travelling with our young son can sometimes be challenging, but the staff were incredibly warm, attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Every interaction felt sincere, and we truly appreciated the hospitality extended to our family.
The hotel itself is beautiful, elegant and full of charm. The heritage ambience added a special touch to the celebration and made our stay feel extra meaningful.
The breakfast and dinner buffet offered a wide variety of choices, which we appreciated. While the food was generally good, there weren’t any particular dishes that stood out to us as exceptional. Nevertheless, there was certainly something for everyone and we enjoyed the overall dining experience.
Overall, this was a wonderful birthday staycation and definitely worth every ringgit spent. Thank you to The Majestic team for helping create such a memorable celebration for my husband. We left with happy memories and will certainly consider returning in the future.
❤️ Thank you again for making his birthday so special."
"Check in was smooth and very easy. Both front desk staff is very pleasant. We even get a room upgrade. Though one of the room was not ready, but by the time we settle down in the first room, we were handed over the room card for second room.
Hotel is near to 7E so its easier to get your food/amenities. There is also few eateries nearby.
Walking distance to Maharajalela monorail. We use that to get to Times Square and Lalaport.
Overall we have good experience stay."
"This is simply an excellent hotel. The service is top-notch. It's clean, and the room has a microwave, washing machine, hairdryer, bathrobe, TV, and air conditioning. On the 35th floor, there's a pool with a breathtaking view of the towers. Nearby, there are a million cafes with various cuisines. Plus, there's a huge shopping mall where you can exchange money and do some shopping. My favorite 7-Eleven is right at the hotel entrance. I highly recommend it. I will definitely come back here again. Thank you for your hospitality ❤️🫶🏻"
"Very satisfied with my stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location is fantastic, with a shopping mall and a lively commercial street right downstairs. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops nearby, making it very convenient for both dining and shopping. Highly recommended, and I would gladly stay here again."
"Great location right next to Chinatown, directly across from Ho Kow Kopitiam. The lobby is on the 7th floor, and the green and white decor looks quite nice. Communication with the staff was smooth, even though their English had a strong 'curry accent' and my English isn't great – we managed just fine, which was good. The room was a bit small but still nice, and the shower had good water pressure. I didn't take any photos of the room, only a couple of the view outside the window."
"2 things to note b4 coming: you must bring your own soap cos it’s not provided. And get the hairdryer from Rubel at the front desk.
What more can you ask for?? The location is superb. It’s just 100 steps from imbi monorel station and opposite Berjaya TS & Lalaport (Hang Tuah LRT/MRT station). And there’s the super friendly Rubel at the front desk. Recommended!"
"Checking in and out is very smooth as there is receptionist. Place is clean and good, it’s just a bit far from city, as driving will need to go one round sometimes. It is a nice place to stay, I will come back again."

WWyatt CanThe hotel's location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and shopping. The rooms are clean and tidy, with complete and new facilities. The front desk service is attentive and thoughtful. Overall, the stay was comfortable and pleasant. I highly recommend it!
AAnonymous UserOverall, I enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was decent, and the lunch buffet on the second day was especially delicious. The room and bathroom were sparkling clean, which I really appreciated.
However, my room was located at the end of the floor, right next to the emergency stairs. Although there is a strict no-smoking policy in the rooms, there seemed to be someone smoking either in a nearby room or at the stairwell. Unfortunately, the cigarette smell seeped into my room, which made the stay less comfortable as I am sensitive to smoke. It happens on the second night, luckily my check out day is the next day.
GGuest UserHuge suite with two living rooms, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The environment is fantastic, and the service is warm and friendly; the concierge service is excellent. They also offer Chinese-speaking room service. The facilities are comprehensive, and the infinity pool is perfect for Instagram-worthy photos.
CChristian DalaoStayed at Vortex Suite here in Malaysia and overall it was a great experience. The place was clean, comfortable, and very convenient in terms of location. Everything we needed was easily accessible, and the amenities were well-maintained.
What really made our stay even better was the excellent service we received from Mr. Shapon Alam. He was very accommodating, friendly, and always ready to assist us with anything we needed. His professionalism and kindness truly stood out.
Highly recommended, and special thanks to Mr. Shapon Alam — definitely a 10/10 for his service! 😌👏🏻✨
QQairul AffiqVery cozy room for 1-2 person. All is okay however can improve the cleanliness and items provided in the room. For example the towel and shower area. Location is also very near to Chow Kit monorail. less than 5min walk.
GGuest UserI had a really good stay at this apartment. The room was very nice, clean, and well-equipped. It had everything I needed: plates, slippers, a microwave, a kettle for heating water, a hairdryer, a ceiling fan, and air conditioning.
The facilities were also good. There’s a pool and a simple gym. However, the pool was under maintenance for 1 out of the 2 days I stayed, so just keep in mind that it might sometimes be unavailable.
The only downside was that at night there was a bad smell coming from the toilet in the bathroom. Despite that, I would still highly recommend this place.
HHK ChuahFor those driving, just parking your car at the front hotel and pass the key to jockey. The velvet parking rate is RM15 per days. The room very clean, the bed is comfortable and nice view from window where you can see the twin tower as show in attached photo. Breakfast is nice and the waitress is friendly.
Not much Chinese restaurant nearby.
AAnonymous UserThe unit wasn't worth the price. Also, the RM200 deposit had to be paid online and takes 5 working days to be refunded. Why does it take so long to get a refund? There should be an option for guests to pay the deposit in cash and get it refunded upon check-out (since the homestay has a reception counter, it's not self-check-in). This issue of holding onto deposits for so long always happens... why can't they use the same method as hotels? I'll update how many days it takes for the homestay to refund my deposit.
GGuest UserReally love my 1 night stay here around April 2026 to prevent jet leg from my flight and just have some rest before my class starts. The hotel is located really in Chinatown but its like a combo of a shop infront of it and inside is the hotel and everything around there at night is just so fun and good to see , even get the view of the iconic Merdeka tower from my room though the window shape is a bit awkward. Though the train station is near you would need to walk abit to reach there and not recommended for someone who brings big luggages like me lol. Nevertheless the best stay and rest I ever had , everything is complete and cozy (hot water , basic shower stuff and aircond) even tho navigating in the hotel is abit confusing since the building is like a long stretch with different building combination.
