"The room was very clean, the service was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. The pool was a bit small, but wow, the building is incredibly tall! A special shout-out to the turndown service, which replenished plenty of water (the room felt a little dry, so staying hydrated was key!) and cleared the trash. From the bathtub in my Magnolia room, I had views of Qiantan, Expo Park, Lupu Bridge, and Nanpu Bridge. From the desk, I could see Yaohan, Century Park (I believe), and beyond that, two extremely tall buildings (does anyone know what they are?). To see the Oriental Pearl Tower and the iconic 'Three-Piece Suit' skyscrapers, you needed to go to the 101st-floor lobby. At night, I also enjoyed a complete and magnificent panorama of the Bund and Yu Garden. The views from the 84th and 85th floors were excellent as well. Minibar beer and soft drinks were complimentary. However, snacks, chocolates, spirits, and wine were chargeable. The welcome fruit was a bit sparse – I actually had to use a Ctrip point to get it. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. It motivates me to work hard, show my kids more of the world, and treat myself to such rewards again."

"The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. The hotel offers a full range of excellent facilities. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Its prime location provides easy access to public transport, with Metro Lines 2 and 10 conveniently nearby, making it ideal for exploring the city. Housekeeping kept the guest rooms meticulously clean, and the common areas were also immaculately maintained."

"Had a great stay for 3 nights. Room was spacious and quiet. Though the furnishings were pretty outdated but housekeeping service was tip top & efficient. Only concern was the bath tube which don't come with assisted handles which may pose high risk for the elderly. Next, there seemed to be quite relaxed on the security because you don't need a room card to access to your lift floor and anybody can just walked into the gym to use its facilities. The buffet breakfast was okay seemed like they focus more on western dishes which tasted better than the chinese dishes which to me as a Chinese the chinese dishes don't looked so appealing. The location was good next to a small mall with restaurants and supermarket. Overall i had a great stay & would recommend others to try this hotel."

"We had such a wonderful stay! The hotel is perfectly located in the middle of the city, very close to the subway. You can easily acces every major attraction without the need to take a taxi or to switch the subway too much. Highly recommend. On top of everything we got such a nice room with an incredible view on 26th floor. We have to thank Oliver from the reception for giving us such a nice room."

"The hotel itself is a historic building, with the breakfast cafe being particularly beautiful. Our room overlooked the Shanghai city skyline, offering good privacy and a nice view. The room size was a bit on the smaller side. While some facilities were slightly dated, they were very well-maintained. The bathroom had excellent water pressure, which made for a really comfortable shower. The hotel breakfast was excellent and highly recommended!"

"I simply *must* give the hotel facilities a perfect score! From the moment we checked in, we were greeted with warm smiles. The staff patiently answered all our questions and even proactively selected a great room for us, demonstrating incredible attention to detail. The hotel's amenities are fantastic. Our room was spotless and spacious, the bedding was wonderfully comfortable, the bathroom facilities were modern, and the public areas boasted a stylish design. We had such a comfortable and pleasant stay that I'll definitely be back. Highly, highly recommend! A big thank you to Sharon from Guest Relations for her follow-up, which made our experience truly perfect."

"The 25th-floor lobby was impressive with powerful air conditioning. However, a faint sour odor lingered in the air. The elevators to the upper floors were very smooth but lacked air conditioning. Breakfast on the 26th floor was split into Chinese and Western sections. The food stations were quite spread out. The Western section had good AC, but the Chinese section was uncomfortably hot due to insufficient cooling. We stayed in room 4901. The view was excellent, but the bedding was very ordinary, and there was noticeable dust. The main issues were: 1. The air conditioner was incredibly noisy. 2. Its cooling performance was completely inadequate. I'm unsure if this was due to a fixed thermostat setting or a system restriction, but I woke up twice during the night because of the heat. (We called maintenance around 2 AM, and after some adjustment, it was slightly better... A fan was requested and delivered around 3 AM). This is how my child and I ended up enduring a noisy and hot stay in what's supposedly a five-star hotel. Regarding service, despite making several calls during the night, there was no follow-up from staff whatsoever. This lack of proactivity and communication feels quite outdated in today's hospitality industry, indicating a clear lack of handover between shifts."

"Very cool designed hotel and love the design and indeed the stunning view of the Bund from the room. Had a long time deciding which hotel for bund views and definitely made a right choice! The breakfast was amazing- so many choices! Good quality. And the bar outside - wow again - great place to chill at night with the view. Also had dinner at Yen restaurant in the hotel - service is excellent and food is delicious. Happy that I could also order a cool cocktail collaboration they had with another cool place in Shanghai. Anyway shows W’s commitment to good design and lifestyle. Location of the hotel is great - short easy walk to the Bund and in the lovely - more chill neighbourhood of HongKou. Just next to mall with everything. Great stay! And yes love the very cute XLB and chopsticks plush in the room. Couldn’t stop admiring them :)"

"I stayed in a Deluxe City View King Room for three days. As I was quite tired from traveling, I mostly explored the area around Nanjing Road and the Bund, and consequently spent a good amount of time experiencing the hotel itself. **Peace Hotel Historical and Cultural Tour:** I personally love hotels with a sense of history and age, so I really enjoyed this tour. The guide was excellent, not only explaining things within the museum but also taking us to other famous spots. For instance, Picture 7 shows the revolving door at the Jasmine Lounge (where the breakfast buffet is served), which is the iconic door from *Blossoms Shanghai* that Mr. Bao used. For an additional 88 RMB, you can visit the old elevator (Picture 8) and the 11th-floor rooftop terrace (Pictures 9 and 10). I think fans of *Blossoms Shanghai* would find this very interesting, as it's the same terrace used by Mr. Bao and Miss Wang. My only regret is that you can only look at the old elevator; it would have been wonderful to experience a ride on it, even just for one floor. Picture 2 shows an old piano in the Jasmine Lounge, where the breakfast buffet is served. Pictures 3, 4, and 5 show the classic jazz band performance. I asked a staff member, and they mentioned that the band members on the screen are from an earlier generation, different from the current group. The performance was excellent, especially the lead saxophonist. Later, a female vocalist also sang. The entire performance lasted quite a while, from 7 PM to past 11 PM. Unfortunately, I was short on time and only listened for about an hour before leaving. There's a minimum spend of 418 RMB per person, which can be offset by ordering drinks, snacks, fruit platters, etc. Picture 6 shows the beautiful ceiling above the Peace Dove statue in the lobby. The last two photos, surprisingly, capture the most delightful aspect of my stay: the Le Labo Santal 33 soap and Rose 31 bath amenities. Initially, I just used them casually and found them wonderfully fragrant. Later, I discovered the hotel had a Le Labo boutique, and after browsing and learning more about the brand, I returned to my room to fully appreciate the scents. Bathing in the tub that evening, using the complete Rose 31 range – shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and body lotion – was an unparalleled indulgence. Before checking out, I even went to the shop and bought the Shanghai-exclusive perfume. The rooms are replenished daily with the Santal 33 soap and Rose 31 products, and you can even take them home as a souvenir when you leave. All the staff members were also very friendly and provided excellent service. The only minor drawback was the dining. During my stay, I tried breakfast at the Jasmine Lounge, Victor's restaurant, and some snacks at the Jazz Bar, but the quality across the board was quite ordinary. It wasn't bad, per se, but it didn't feel up to the standard of a grand hotel; nothing truly impressed me. Especially since we had stayed at the Hangzhou State Guesthouse just before this, where the culinary standards were exceptionally high, I couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed at the Peace Hotel. I hope they can elevate their dining quality rather than just relying on the ambiance."

"From the room and the furnitures, you can tell that it is an old hotel. The lobby is grand but the room is not as great in comparison. Room was not well lit when curtain is closed and all the lights are on. However, hotel is situated at an extremely great location; right outside of the hotel is Nanjing Pedestrian Street. The Bund is walking distance. Nearby the hotel has many great and famous restaurants. If you don’t mind that the room is a bit run down (but relatively clean), I think this hotel is a great place to stay."

AAnonymous UserThis hotel has good locations for those who like to walk. If you can walk for a short distance, you can get to malls and tourist spots in any directions within 5-10mins. Walk up north to HKRI mall, Starbucks and LV cruise store. Walk down south to 755 Mall. Walk left to bar street and small alleys. Walk right to nightclub and hangout spot called Found 158. The hotel room is spacious and clean. Have amenities and daily housekeeping. Very comfy bed. The staff are willing to help you even they can speak little English. They provide free 2 cans of soft drink per night. Free coffee and tea and some snack (pop corn and other snack) at the lobby. Luggage storage and laundry machines are available. You can watch movies from a projector in your room but it’s a bit hard to look for English speaking movies as all menu is in Chinese. Only thing we don’t like is toilet smell at the hallway. Overall, I’m satisfied and enjoy my stay in this hotel.

GGuest User🌟 Our stay at Chuxin Moshe Hotel was amazing! I highly recommend this Hotel, especially if you plan to go to Disneyland. I will describe our whole experience here: None of the hotel staff spoke English, but they use translations apps and they are very helpful. Any questions we had they answered. 🛏 Room: Bed was big and comfy. I am very tall but that wasn't an issue. We also had in our room a Dyson like hair dryer (very good and powerful), shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrush, flip-flops and bottles of water (restocked daily). ”TV” was a cinema like projector to the wall. I could not make it work because I could not find the settings to switch to English language haha 😅 We also had AC and humidifier - much needed in this weather. The walls are thin, and not very good soundproff. The room was clean! 🍜🥮 Food: Breakfast was delicious! There were many options, mostly asian food. Rice, noodles, fried eggs, boiled eggs, fruits, baked pumpkin, moon cake and many more. See attached pictures. ⭐️ Amenities: - 🚌 You need to go to Disneyland ? Just ask the front desk. They provide rides to and from Disneyland for FREE! All you have to do is to drop a message on the WeChat group with the timeslot + number of people and driver Lee will pick you up. - 💆♂️💺 Tired after Disneyland? You can use massage chairs for FREE at the lobby. - 👕🧺 You end up changing 2-3 shirts a day because you did not realize how hot and humid Shanghai is? The hotel provides FREE laundry and drying machines! - ☕️🫖 FREE coffee, tea and ”sour plums soup” (very good, I recommend it) can be found at the hotel lobby too. 📌 Location: The Hotel is located in an not so tourist area. None of the people there speak english, and you will be the only foreigner when walking down the street. We went for jogging in the neighborhood everyday. We felt safe. You can find local restaurants and local markets/shops selling all sort of crazy stuff. It was very interesting to see the local life, not only the tourist side of the city. 🛬🛫Airport: the Hotel offers FREE rides to and from the airport! It goes every 2 hours. You just have to inform the front desk one day in advance. Initially we decided to go by ourself and we took a random taxi from the airport (❌️ this was a mistake, I don't recommend you to do it, unless you speak mandarin). The taxi driver took 3 longer turns and when we arrived he tried to scam us to pay 465 yuan for a 60 yuan ride (I checked the prices before on Amap app). I started arguing with the driver who did not speak english in the hotel parking area. Hotel staff was prompt and immediately came to my help trying to understand the situation. When they realized what was happening, in about 2-3 min around 5-6 hotel staff members were there defending us and arguing with the scamer taxi driver. They picked up our luggage from the back of the car and helped us settle the dispute using translation apps. 🙏Big thanks to them! We felt very welcomed and safe! Other services that were provided by the hotel but we did NOT use: - 👗👢costume rentals (princesses, cowboys, etc), mostly for kids. I guess it is more convenient to rent a costume rather than to buy one for a kid that will outgrow the costume by the next year... -💄 proffesional make-up - 🗣 tour guides - only for mandarin speaking I think ❤️🙏 In the end we want to say a big thank-you to Xiao Ran and all the employees there who helped us a lot during our stay. The hotel is great and the employees attitude and willingness to help is amazing 👏. 💡Other tips: - 🇨🇳 in China: you need Alipay and WeChat apps in order to pay / communicate and Amap to check map and local transportation. - 🏰 in Shanghai Disney Resort: get the Magic Disney Passport (around 80 yuan) and try to complete it in the first day. It is a nice ”tour” like experience of the whole park. - ☀️ weather in October - it's hot, very, very hot 🔥 🥵

SS_WongThe hotel is located close to a mall with great variety of food options. It is relatively close to Yu garden and key sights around Shanghai. The hotel provides free shuttle services to certain must go sites in Shanghai. The stay was comfortable with excellent bedding and the room is very clean. As we requested for completely smoke free room, it was indeed smoke-free. The items in the bar fridge were free for consumption too. The service staff were friendly and approachable, and will always try their best to make it comfortable for all of us. Highly recommend this hotel for families, couples and even business travellers.

GGuest UserThe room was more spacious than I'd imagined, and the view from the window was quite nice, with Jing'an Temple visible in the distance. The walk-through area in the room was just wide enough to open a suitcase, leaving little extra space, but it was perfectly fine for a solo trip. Soundproofing in the room wasn't great; noises from outside the door were quite clear (though this is a common drawback of hostels). This might be an issue for light sleepers. Transportation is incredibly convenient, as it's only about a three-minute walk from the subway station, which really helps save on travel expenses. **Cleanliness:** The shared bathrooms were exceptionally clean; an attendant would clean them immediately after each use, which was very reassuring. **Service:** Upon arrival, a staff member showed me to my room and introduced the facilities. The lobby offered quite a few amenities; I recall there was an ice machine, and I even borrowed an umbrella from the front desk when it rained during my stay. Overall, I was very satisfied and would happily choose to stay here again on my next visit to Shanghai.

GGuest UserThe rooms are exceptionally comfortable, and the ambiance is superb. With its distinctive, boutique design, it easily stands out as one of the best hotels in the area. XXavier XiaoHaving stayed at numerous Ritz-Carlton properties across China, the Ritz-Carlton Pudong is the only one I've felt compelled to return to so swiftly after my initial stay. Our second visit was particularly special, as we brought along our most cherished family members to celebrate my mother's 60th milestone birthday there. It was truly the exceptionally positive first experience that immediately convinced my wife and me to entrust this significant life event for my mother to the Ritz-Carlton Pudong. This subsequent visit, true to form, did not disappoint. Before check-in, we contacted the hotel's Guest Relations department to explain our occasion and made a few modest requests regarding the birthday arrangements. The hotel staff were incredibly patient and meticulously arranged everything for us. A special commendation goes to Jerry and Jeremy from the hotel. On our arrival day, they had thoughtfully prepared a beautiful birthday bouquet to present to my mother. My mother was utterly moved by the hotel's genuine warmth and attention, almost to tears. A delicate mini birthday cake and a heartfelt handwritten card were also thoughtfully placed in our room. My mother exclaimed how truly thoughtful and caring it all was. ❤️ I truly believe an outstanding hotel is defined not merely by its prime location, opulent environment, or the sophistication of its room amenities. It is, more profoundly, about the dedicated and professional staff, exemplified by Jerry and Jeremy. They serve every guest with heartfelt sincerity, addressing even the smallest request with utmost professionalism and responsibility, ensuring every resident's needs are met. This genuine commitment profoundly touches guests, fostering a true sense of belonging – a feeling of being genuinely at home, truly valued, and deeply cared for. With such an exceptional and professional service team, we will undoubtedly and consistently choose the Ritz-Carlton Pudong for our future stays. Genuine sincerity always leaves a lasting impression!

XXixiheniuFor our summer trip, after a week of researching hotels near Disneyland, we ultimately chose this one due to its excellent value. It offers a direct shuttle service to Disneyland. Crucially, for those driving, there's also complimentary parking available. The hotel thoughtfully upgraded us to a family room and provided kids' slippers and toiletries. We were also pleasantly surprised to discover they offer a shuttle service to Pudong Airport. For early risers, they even prepared convenient grab-and-go breakfast options. We only later found out that the hotel also features a late-night buffet. (Quick tip for Disneyland: instead of various advance passes, a regular early-bird ticket bought through official channels, usually around 100+ RMB, is often sufficient.)

This was our return trip to revisit our home of 4 yrs. The initial photos for Guisu Homestay with the charming window view doesn’t match the initial sell, but the detailed photos of the actual space does. However it’s smaller than it looks, as the top loft and kitchen counts within the measurement. So if you’re a family of 4 then this is perfect since the middle room will give you space to sit. But if you are 5 with the sofa permanently done up as a bed then it’s tight. All was good except the the shower doors were a little run down and shower was gunky and could use a little redo. All in all a good experience. The host was responsive to our needs but strict on the 12noon checkout. The neighborhood and overall location is unbeatable. Close to great food and served as our center base to revisit the French Concession from Jing An. Definitely a good place if this is your first time in Shanghai.

MMohammad Faisyal RizaStayed here for 3 nights. The best thing about this hotel is the location — just a short walk to the metro station, which made it easy to explore Shanghai. There are also a few halal food options nearby, which was very helpful. The room is not very spacious, and there’s no wardrobe or safe. But it was clean and comfortable enough for a short stay. I also appreciated the self-service laundry facilities, including a steam iron, which is great if you’re staying longer. Staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. Overall, a good choice if you’re looking for a simple, affordable hotel with a strategic location. I give overall Rating: 4/5
